It’s almost the end of 2017 and what does that mean? It means it is time to know about most awaited Salesforce moments of 2018 from none other than our MVP Ninjas!
We asked them – What is the one thing you are looking forward to in the Salesforce world in 2018?
Here’s what they had to say:
Chris ZulloChris Zullo: I am most excited about Distributed Marketing and what it means for marketers and organizations with multiple layers of email communications. Whether you’re working with partners, affiliates, franchisees, or various chapters of your nonprofit organization, this will make it easier for the central entity to distribute content so that messaging and its contents are consistent. Like a hub and spoke, this will have a dramatic impact where the hub can create content the spokes can consume and distribute branded emails that are indistinguishable to the recipients regardless of whether it came from corporate headquarters or a smaller field office that doesn’t often have as big of a marketing budget.

Rebe de la pazRebe de la Paz: Hmm…that is a tough question for me when it comes to 2018 and Salesforce. I’m looking forward to seeing how much more of an impact I can make upon the 2018 Salesforce world. I want to see more diversity and help push those needles. I want to witness the excitement in several faces as they start a new career in Salesforce after working so hard. I want to help as many people as I can using what I have learned within my own experiences.
Nick LindbergNick Lindberg: One thing I’m looking forward to in the Salesforce world in 2018 are more standard lightning components. In previous releases, new Lightning components have been released to add some really cool new functionality. For instances, the Related List Single component and Component Visibility came out in Winter’18 to make pages more dynamic and straightforward. In Spring’18 release orgs, new components such as Accordion which allows users to expand/contract sections of a page. It will be a lot of fun to see what else the Lightning Team at Salesforce will think up over the next three releases.
Rachel RogersRachel Rogers: The 2018 game changer will be implementing Dynamic Pages. The ability to display just in time content will improve processes and data accuracy. Focused content for the end user will decrease training cycles and increase productivity. The days of having to fill in fields when they aren’t applicable to the stage you are in are gone.
Amber Boaz: I’m looking forward to the Ohana expanding! There’s great momentum in the community and I can’t wait to meet the newest folks!

Anup Jadhav: I’m really looking forward to more Salesforce customers adopting and embracing Lightning Experience UI and giving their users the joy of using a modern, slick and fast user interface. It will also enable their developers and admins to deliver value quickly and effectively by building apps using the excellent Lightning framework. The ROI, both from costs and user experience point of view, for moving from classic to Lightning is very high and makes the effort even more worthwhile.
Denise Carbone: In 2018, I am looking forward to seeing the trajectory of the Declarative Admins LEX skills skyrocket! Salesforce has been amazing and supportive by providing the right tools to get us all ramped up. Trailhead and the Lightning Now workshops are just a few of those tools made available to us all. Lightning is the future, and Salesforce’s continued investment in the Admin skillset is inspiring! Happy New Year to you Ohana!
Adam Kramer: 2018 will be the year that Salesforce doubles down on the concept of the customizable platform. By this time next year my organization’s instance of Salesforce will be different from your organization’s instance thanks to myLightning, myEinstein, and other major Dreamforce announcements. This will all be documented for my users with myTrailhead. This is not just a slick surface-coating but rather truly empowering all Salesforce customers to leverage the platform to meet their unique needs for their users and customers.
Johan YuJohan Yu: If I can have 2 things:
1.Lightning is now, because Classic is past!
2.More and more AI-related technologies available
