Dazeworks Turns 1 – A Year In and An Incredible One Indeed!

What started out as a casual conversation among friends a year back now stands strong with a 15 member team who share a common passion. Today, Dazeworks turns 1 and as we celebrate this day, I’d like to take some time to look back at the amazing journey that we’ve had. So I hope you’ll excuse me if this comes out as an emotional thank you speech 🙂 ! The initial Dazeworks team set up office at Centre-A, a state-of-the-art, fully serviced office space in Cochin. Those first few months were when we realized that our dream was indeed possible. The support by the entire Centre-A staff and their chief Joe Alapatt was just the boost that we needed. From working out that single room with three employees camped in together, I am proud to say that we now have our own li’l space at Cherthala Infopark. This has been possible because of the commitment and sincerity of my team and I can only see the numbers growing more in the future. There have been a lot of helping hands during this one year who have played the roles of advisors, mentors and inspiring thought leaders. To name a few, a huge thank you to Phil Walton, Sharif Shalaan, Denise Carbone, Eric Dreshfield, Abhinav Gupta, Ankit Arora and the entire Salesforce MVP community!

The awesomeness of Salesforce is definitely one of the factors that bind the team together. But I firmly believe we’ve come this far mainly because each of us are deeply passionate about the work that we do. Being a startup is not easy and each day is an exciting new challenge. But then, that’s one of the fun parts about it. We have had a incredibly busy year with over 50 Salesforce.com engagements across verticals. When it comes to the work that we do, I would like to think that our growing clientele is enough proof of our success. Plus, our customers and partners have come back with a lot of great feedback and suggestions during our interactions. This has helped us in improving our level of service and I would like to say a huge thank you to them for that. It’s been great working with you guys! We hope to see you stay with us in the coming years as well. Of course, no thank-you post is complete without thanking the awesome Salesforce community for the support they’ve given (as always).

I’d like to think that where we are today is the start of many more good things to come and look forward to celebrating bigger milestones as we move on.

Stay Awesome!

Shiv
